Foreigners will now await their temporary residence abroad
WILLEMSTAD - The Minister of Justice Minister Nelson Navarro has decided to eliminate the so-called ‘exemption out of the country requirement’ since January 1 of this year.
This takes into account the fact that the time for processing of applications and the decision has been reduced to about three weeks or less.
The Admission Organization has processed in recent months a large number of applications for temporary residence permits and the minister sees no reason to give foreigners the opportunity to stay here in anticipation of the permit.
Once the application has been processed, the applicant will receive a notice of the Admission Organization and he / she should make an appointment to get the permit.
On the day of the appointment, the applicant must demonstrate the notice and all other required documents.
