Former Prime Minister Curacao pretends

Schotte at Chaves' funeralWILLEMSTAD – It seems that former Prime Minister of Curacao,  Gerrit Schotte, is not to be able to do away from his previous job. According to the member of Parliament Omayra Leeflang, Schotte has presented himself as the Prime Minister of Curacao during the farewell ceremonies for Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez Frias.

Leeflang, of the Partido Antia Restruktura (PAR), made this issue public first on Facebook . She refers to a statement of the Haitian delegation, stating that President Michel Martelly was accompanied at the funeral by "the Prime Minister of Curaçao, Gerrit Schotte." But that's Schotte was deposed as Prime Minister since July 29 of last year.

The Haitian documents added with pictures which clearly shows that Schotte attended the ceremonies with Martelly and ends up in the first row says enough for Leeflang. "His goal is to pretend as if he is still recognized as Prime Minister of Curacao by the international world."
