Four Country Consultation St. Maarten, Aruba, Netherlands and Curaçao

NavarroWILLEMSTAD - Today was the beginning of the Judicial Four Country Consultations with the main objective to form a strong block against crime in general and against cross-border crime, in particular. This consultation is taking place in Curacao.

During the consultation, the four Ministers of Justice in the Dutch Kingdom will discuss the exchange of knowledge and cooperation between the four existing ministries of St. Maarten, Aruba, Netherlands and Curaçao. Also, issues such as the detention capacity, strengthening Curacao Police Corps with personnel from the Royal Military Police and assistance in general to combat crime will be discussed.
