Fuss about security company owned by former Minister of Finance
WILLEMSTAD – There is a commotion in the security sector about the allocation to Speedy Security to protect government buildings. The company is owned by former Minister of Finance in the Schotte cabinet, George Jamaloodin.
The former minister is suspected of involvement in the assassination of the late political leader Helmin Wiels. Separately, other companies indicate that Speedy has not fully participated in the public tender.
Speedy Security got the appointment to secure all government buildings shortly after the installation of the government headed by Jamaloodin political leader Gerrit Schotte.
