Government puts satellite system to detect illegal construction
WILLEMSTAD - Minister of Traffic, Transport and Urban Planning, Earl Balborda has announced a new way to detect illegal construction.
This year, the so-called Geographic Information System - GIS – will be operational. Satellite images will be made of the landscape. The Department of Urban Planning will receive a message when there are changes in the landscape and they can monitor the case.
