Government warns: “Take care of your ID card”
WILLEMSTAD – The government has started with awareness campaign in collaboration with the Curaçao Police Corps (KPC). The campaign is called “Take care of your ID card”.
The Ministry of Administration, Planning and Services and the police want to help the population to be more careful with identification papers. Monthly the Civil Registrar (Kranshi) receives dozens, sometimes hundreds, of reports of lost or stolen passports, driving licenses and ID cards (sedula). The campaign warns people of the dangers of identity theft.
