Guess who’s coming to dinner?

Eugene-Rhuggenaath-diner-Koningshuis-1THE HAGUE - The Prime Minister of Curaçao Eugene Rhuggenaath indicated on his social media that it was a great honor, at the invitation of Their Majesties, the King and Queen, to welcome the President of Singapore, Her Excellency Mrs. Halimah Yacob, and her husband Mr. Mohamed Abdullah Alhabshee forEugene-Rhuggenaath-diner-Koningshuis-2 a state visit to the Netherlands.

“The presidential couple's visit is dominated by innovation, social inclusion and circular economy, and my visit to the Netherlands is also about innovation and sustainable growth. These are also central themes for Curaçao in the coming years and will be discussed extensively during 'Bon Biní for Business in Curaçao' in January 2019,” said Rhuggenaath.

There was also a meeting with Mr. Thom de Graaf, vice president of the Council of State. Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath is well acquainted with De Graaf when he was Minister of Kingdom Relations and Rhuggenaath Commissioner of Finance at the time of the Netherlands Antilles.

The two gentlemen also sat together with members of the Council of State for Curaçao, Mr. Paul Comenencia for a conversation. The Council of State is a government advisory body in the Netherlands.
