Justice returns money back to Charles Cooper
WILLEMSTAD - The Public Prosecution (OM) returned back the money they confiscated from the Member of Parliament Charles Cooper and his wife. In April this year, the OM confiscated 50,000 guilders from the couple and accused them of money laundering.
The wife of the MFK politician was then invited to explain the large sum of money found in their home.
But the National Investigation Team now says that it has not found any further evidence for the accusation. They themselves declared after the invasion that the money came from Cooper's medical practice.
