Korpodeko provides financial assistance to InselAir
WILLEMSTAD – The financial institution Korpodeko has lent the local aviation company InselAir some needed cash. The airline has serious financial problems because of the funds stuck in Venezuela.
“They have borrowed part of the money,” said the Minister of Economic Development Eugene Rhuggenaath.
Korpodeko will also look to other financial institutions for the other part of the amount need by the airline.
It is not clear how much InselAir has borrowed precisely. Previously, CEO of the airline, Albert Kluivert said they needed 24 million guilders. According to the minister, the intended total amount borrowed was less than that.
