The MP suggests, therefore setting up a task force: Task Force Trabou pa Hubentut (Work for the Youth).

“Trabou pa Hubentut may consist of representatives from key sectors: SOAW (Social Development, Labour and Welfare), MEO (Ministry of Economic Development), education, private sector and the public sector. Participation in the Task Force is voluntary, but without any sort of reimbursement. We must all raise funds to generate work for youth.”

Leeflang sees good opportunities for this purpose. The government has several funds from USONA available, the MP states. In total there are twelve funds with a total value of 4.8 million guilders. She wants to know from Prime Minister Ivar Asjes whether these funds can be made available and if so, which ones.
