Majority political parties did not turn in their financial reports
WILLEMSTAD - An overwhelming majority of the political parties have still not turn in their annual reports and financial accounts. April 1 was the deadline.
Only coalition parties PAR and PAIS were on time. The ruling party Pueblo Soberano (PS), coalition party PNP and opposition parties MFK and MAN have requested a deferral. New parties do not need to present anything yet.
Parties who participated last time, but took no seat, must turn in their financial report. The DP and the FOL must comply with this rule, but have not done that yet, according to the Supreme Electoral Council.
