MFK: “Coalition hides report on Central Bank”

Schotte1WILLEMSTAD – According to the opposition party MFK, it is an outright shame when the one who requested an investigation at the Central Bank, after 14 days of receiving the report, now wants to analyze it to see if all parties were heard.

MFK referred to the report made by PricewaterhouseCoopers on the functioning of the Central Bank of Curaçao and Sint Maarten. This report was requested by both the ministers of Finance of Curaçao and Sint Maarten.

On October 17, the Minister of Finance, Dr. Jose Jardim, said in parliament that in two weeks he will present the report to the MPs. “Now the same minister is saying that he will give the central bank the time to review the report to ascertain whether the final version of the report accurately reflect their views.

MFK now wonders when this report will be made public for the people to know what is going on in the Central Bank.
