MFK preparing for elections

MFK's press conferenceWILLEMSTAD – In a recent press release, the opposition party MFK announced that they will start their preparations for the parliamentary elections. During the party’s weekly meeting, the board made the decision to start preparing for the 2016 elections.

MFK also indicates in its press release that taking note of the constant instability, which has been reigning Curaçao for the past 60 years and that there were few cabinets which have actually finished their term in office, the party, as a political organization, must be well prepared for an eventual election.

The board of the party has instituted a committee chaired by its political leader, Gerrit Schotte, to start the process of preparing for this election.

The first part of the process, according to the MFK, is to look for persons, who are interested in becoming candidates on the participating list.
