MFK wants a recount
WILLEMSTAD – The Movementu Futuro Korsou (MFK), the party that ranked second in the elections, wants a recount of votes in some polling stations. This is according to the MFK leader and former Prime Minister Gerrit Schotte.
According to Schotte, there were irregularities at three polling stations. The votes at these polling stations should be recounted, said the MFK leader.
For the MFK this is important, because the difference between their party and the largest party MAN, is just 300 votes.
Whether the Supreme Electoral Council (SEC) will honor MFK’s request is still questionable. The SEC still has to present the official result.
