Mike Franco had expected criticism

FrancoWILLEMSTAD - Former chairman of the Curaçao Parliament, Mike Franco, expected nothing more than criticism for his appointment as government commissioner for St. Eustatius. That he would join the enemy comes from opposition parties he faced a number of years when his party PAIS was part of a coalition with PS and PNP.

Franco says is accustomed to this because these political parties always try to make everything negative to support their agenda.

The government commissioner denounces the prejudices and thinks that he should only be judged when he has finished his work. That would be a maximum of two and a half years and elections will be held. He is honored to have the confidence of the Netherlands to hold this office.
