Minister gives National Dialogue Platform information about InselAir
WILLEMSTAD – Minister Ornelio Martina, who is the Interim Minister of Traffic, Transportation and Spatial Planning in the absence of Minister Suzanne Camelia-Römer, met with the National Dialogue Platform to give them information about the latest development concerning the local airline InselAir.
The National Dialogue Platform is a cooperation between the government, the representatives of the business owners (VBC and Chamber of Commerce) and the unions CGTC and SSK. This platform is an institutionalized dialogue structure for the benefit of the island’s social economy.
During this meeting, Bryce Fisher, an expert in the field of aviation for the Curaçao Civil Aviation Authority (CCAA) gave an explanation about the safety of the aviation company.
Henk de Zeeuw, who represents the InselAir committee appointed by the government, talked about InselAir’s impact on the economy and also the agreement between the airline and the government. The vice chairman of InselAir Juni Sluis talked about the current status of the company since the new management took over on February 1 this year.
