Minister Navarro signs treaty for Curacao

Minister NavarroWILLEMSTAD – Minister of Justice, Nelson Navarro, representing the Dutch Kingdom, signed a treaty for Curacao on February 21, 2013. This treat is between the Dutch Kingdom, Curacao and the International Police (INTERPOL). This treaty is about the privileges and immunity of International Police Organizations.

This is valid for the 22nd American Regional Conference of INTERPOL which will be held here in Curacao on July 13, 2013. The so called “Host Agreement” deals with issues like arrival and departure of participants at the host country, privileges and immunity of the organization and its participants at the Conference.

Recently the Chief of Protocol for INTERPOL, Marin Raby, was here in Curacao to make the last preparations for this conference.
