Monk: execution policy leads to ‘battlefield’

WILLEMSTAD  According to former Pueblo Soberano (PS) Minister of Government Planning and Services and later Education, Mr. Carlos Monk, the implementation of the budget of 2013 will lead to a 'battlefield'.

He points out the estimated economic contraction of 2.2 percent and the possible loss of 1,600 jobs. According to Monk, an employee with a minimum wage will see a decrease of 125 guilders a month in their income.  Education will also see a major decrease in funding. On the other hand, banks will have good business opportunities, because they can lend capital to businesses as Aqualectra and therefore gain much in long term.

The leader of Pueblo Soberano, Helmin Wiels has nothing good to say about the criticism of Monk and also FOL leader Anthony Godett who complaint about the budget and the coalition. According to Wiels  both are 'empty' and ‘they have nothing.’
