Moses wants money from Venezuela

MosesWILLEMSTAD - Curacao must claim Cadivi's 100 million debt to InselAir in Venezuela during negotiations with that country. This is according to the Member of Parliament Marilyn Moses.

“We should not think too easily that Venezuela has no money. Even if that's the case, they will pay in oil, because they do have that.”

“Debt is a debt,” says Moses. But she also believes that there should be more clarity on InselAir’s debt or the South American country’s debt to the airline. The Parliament of Curaçao, as a representative of the people, has never received an overview of this debt.

According to the MP, the people have the right to know since the government used tax payers’ money to help InselAir and save it from bankruptcy.
