New negotiation round collective agreement oil refinery employees
WILLEMSTAD - It's D-Day today when it comes to an agreement between the oil refinery Isla, the Antillean Contractors Association and union SGTK for the collective employment agreement. Today the parties will speak with parliament and hopefully, put an end to the strike.
For the collective agreement, this is about 300 to 400 thousand guilders required. This is to pay the so-called premium fund. It is still unclear who needs to pay this premium.
Parliament wants to take away two million guilders from the public companies in the energy sector to help pay the contractors of the oil refinery.
