Official letter to all Supervisory Boards and Public Companies to put on hold all decisions

WILLEMSTAD – The Government has decided to send a letter to all Public Companies, Supervisory Boards and Directors to put on hold all major decisions for the meantime. As it is already known, there is a new Government and soon there will be new members for the Supervisory Boards of each company.

Meanwhile certain issues have presented these last days at CPA, UTS and some other small companies. One of these issues is the agreement between Nederex and CPA for the concession at the Curacao harbor.

The Council of Minister decided to request from each of these companies to stop all major decisions. The Ministers in the Transitional Government have not appointed new members for the different Supervisory Boards, but they have noted that some decisions are made which do not have the support of the Government.
