Opening Parliamentary year unsure

WILLEMSTAD - The standoff between coalition and opposition, which no longer attend Parliamentary meetings, now threatens to draw a thick line through the opening of the parliamentary year on Tuesday September 11.

Various Political Parties have announced that they will not take part of any meetings until the President of Parliament calls for a public meeting, which is the only assembly were decisions can be made. On September 5, the Governor Frits Goedgedrag will disclose what he will do with the demand of the opposition to form a caretaker government and send the current government home.
