PAIS wants to legally define safety in schools
WILLEMSTAD – The coalition party PAIS recently presented a bill proposal in parliament to legally define safety in schools on the island. According to the party, students need a safe school environment for learning. Teachers should also feel safe at school to do their job well.
The party also indicated that their bill initiative is not only good for the child, but it will also take into consideration the fact that the safety at schools can be a major contribution to the fight against juvenile delinquency.
According to the party, to ensure safety in schools, both the Ordinance Basic Education and the Ordinance Secondary Education, should be adapted.
