PAR pleased with Betrian-cabinet
WILLEMSTAD — Opposition party PAR is very pleased with the work of the Betrian-cabinet that ended late last year. Former premier Stanley Betrian led an interim-cabinet from late September to late December, which cabinet was assigned the task to restore the rest on the island and the confidence in the governing of the island. PAR-chairwoman Zita Jesus-Leito is pleased with the work done by Betrian and the members of his cabinet, especially for restoring the peace and rest in the Curaçao community. The yellow party further approves the interim-cabinet having started the national dialogue. The PAR also bids the transition-cabinet led by Daniel Hodge (PS) welcome. The party emphasized that this cabinet can count on its support to control the crime wave and to improve the economy by creating more jobs and reducing unemployment, which led to poverty and gloominess in numerous families on the island.
