PAR will work with Wiels under strict conditions
WILLEMSTAD – Supporters of the new coalition partner PAR still have a hard time accepting their party in a coalition with Marvelyne Wiels as the Minister Plenipotentiary in The Hague.
This is according the PAR’s political leader, Zita Jesus-Lito during a recent press conference of her party where she formally introduced PAR’s Minister of Economic Development, Eugene Rhuggenaath. “The position of PAR on Wiels has remained intact. The yellow party is highly critical of Wiels, who was involved in numerous conflicts,” said Jesus-Leito. Earlier, the party demanded the dismissal of the Minister Plenipotentiary.
Despite this, the PAR believes that the best way to serve Curaçao now is to accept the presence of Wiels in the Curaçao House. But, according to PAR, this has to go under strict conditions.
The party will provide more explanation when their Deputy Minister Plenipotentiary is installed in The Hague.
