Poll: Coalition retains majority

WILLEMSTAD –  A poll from KEY Research in collaboration with the University of the Dutch Caribbean, shows that the current coalition continues to keep the majority after the elections. However the PAR will come out as the biggest party /with 34 percent of the vote.

MFK follows with 27% of the votes then Pueblo Soberano on the third place with 20 percent. MAN is what less well and scored only 6 percent of the vote. The new party PAIS is at 5 percent.

Seats in Parliament
According to the poll, this would mean that PAR would get eight seats, MFK 6 seats, Pueblo Soberano five, MAN one seat and PAIS one as well. This means that according to the poll, the current coalition retains their majority.

The surveys were conducted by telephone between August 8 and 17 from a KEY Research’s call center of. The numbers that were used by the pollsters are in random order from a database. A total of 261 people expressed their preference for a party.
