Premier Asjes: “We have to work inside and outside the Kingdom together”

Ivar Asjes in ArubaWILLEMSTAD – During the meeting with Prime Minister Mike Eman from Aruba last week, Prime Minister Ivar Asjes not just about the kingdom relationship but also spoke about the murder of party leader Helmin Wiels.

With regards to the Kingdom relationships Asjes said that the vision of Pueblo Soberano (PS) is known and that nothing has changed. The only thing that has changed is that a coalition agreement was signed that talks about a constructive relationship with the Kingdom and the countries that form part of the it. "If you want to progress as a country, if you want your people to do well, you have to cooperate. And that counts not only for Aruba, Netherlands and Sint Maarten, but that also applies if we want to work with, for example Venezuela, Colombia, Trinidad & Tobago, etc. We are here together to work together, to consult together and are open to certain business together. Always with respect for each other. "Said Asjes.

Although the leader of the party is no longer here, the party still has the support of the people. This is felt and seen in the meetings they hold every Saturday in the party building. Which are well attended.

"No one can replace Helmin Wiels, but we have to work, fight and continue to have results which people can use at the next election."
