Premier Rhuggenaath on a working visit in The Hague

Rhuggenaath_RutteWILLEMSTAD, THE HAGUE - Prime Minister Eugene Rhuggenaath is in The Hague this week for an official visit. The Prime Minister will be welcomed by his counterpart Mark Rutte in the Torentje (office of the Dutch Prime Minister), among other things to prepare for Rutte’s presence in January at the Bon Bini for Business Summit in Willemstad.

Rhuggenaath also holds discussions with Undersecretary Knops of Kingdom Relations and Kingdom Minister Stef Blok of Foreign Affairs. Although no details have been announced, it is obvious that the crisis in neighboring Venezuela and the influx of refugees to the ABC islands will be discussed.

The Prime Minister will also meet the new chairman of the Dutch parliamentary committee for Kingdom Relations Jan Paternotte and visit the newly appointed vice president of the Council of State of the Kingdom Thom de Graaf.

In addition, Rhuggenaath will have discussions with companies that are interested in doing business with, on or through Curaçao and are present at Bon Bini for Business Summit from 20 to 22 January.
