Pueblo Soberano does not exclude reconciliation with MFK

WILLEMSTAD – Notwithstanding the fact that MFK pulled the plug on negotiations to form a new government for Curacao with the political parties Pueblo Soberan (PS) and MAN, PS is still hopeful that the friction between them and MFK will cool down and there could be a solution to the impasse.

President of PS, Melvin Cijntje,  does not exclude the possibility of reconciliation with MFK, this he declared to the morning newspaper Extra. “I see the possibility of reconciliation with a positive feeling”, he stated.

Nonetheless he does not hide to indicate that pulling the plug from the “willingness declaration” signed at Zeelandia business center by MFK, is a preliminary sign that said party is not willing to form a coalition with PS.

Cijntje based his optimistic opinion on similar events in the past were there was disagreement between the two parties and still they reconciled.
