Quarrel about message brothers Sulvaran

WILLEMSTAD – There are quarrel between the Papiamento language newspapers Vigilante and the Ultimo Notisia, reports Perbureau Curacao.

Last week Ultimo Noticia wrote that the brothers Sulvaran, Vigilante owner Lilo and former member of PAR Glenn Sulvaran (independent Member of Parliament) had traveled to Miami to pick up their reward for their support to the process of formation of a new government for Curacao. Vigilante is outraged and demands immediate rectification. If their words are not retracted, then Vigilante considers filing a complaint against Ultimo Noticia.

Glenn Sulvaran has dissented from the PAR after the party had rejected the willingness agreement between the political parties PS, PAIS and PNP. Sulvaran is a co-founder of PAR and declared during a radio interview that he is still a member of the party but will continue as an independent Member of Parliament. This news has caused many to wonder what the real intent was behind Sulvaran’s decision. On facebook, Sulvaran stated that there was no bad intention but that he only wants what’s best for Curacao. He also said that he does not support a government with the political party MFK headed by former Prime Minister Gerrit Schotte.
