Rosaria: “It’s not my job to dismiss Wiels”
WILLEMSTAD - Party leader of the coalition party PAIS, Alex Rosaria got a lot of indignant reactions about him after the debate on the functioning of Minister Plenipotentiary in The Hague, Marvelyne Wiels last Thursday in parliament.
Despite the critical attitude of the party before and during the public debate on Wiels, PAIS did not support the motion of censure against Wiels. Rosaria says he has no means at hand to dismiss people from other political parties who misbehaved or broke the law. He is only responsible for "his own people". He referred to the member of the supervisory board of the tourist office, who had to resign after pressure from PAIS, the party which appointed him to that post. This is because of free tickets from Air Berlin.
