Screening results are safely stored at MCB Bank

Glenn CameliaWILLEMSTAD – The screening information of each current Minister is in a safe at the Maduro and Curiel’s Bank (MCB), this is according to the formateur, Glenn Camelia.

Camelia complied with the last aspects of his task as the formateur of the Government. The last screening process which took place was for the vice plenipotentiary minister in The Hague. The formateur did not mention the candidate’s name but apparently its Mr. Roberto Candelaria who was the Director of the Curacao House in The Hague. Candelaria was supposed to be sworn in yesterday.

The documents on the integrity of each candidate was delivered to the clerk of the court. This took place on August 7 of this year by the notary Cloose-Fung-A-Loi which prepared the notary act. The documents were then sealed in front of the President of the Court of Justice, Mrs. Lisbeth Hoefdraad, formateur Glenn Camelia and the Clerk and vice president of the Advisory Council, Beatriz Doran-Scoop. The clerk of the Parliament was responsible of taking the documents to the bank.

These confidential documents will stay sealed for 5 years and will not be available for the public. The period in which these documents should be kept is till five years after the Minister has finished his or her term. After this period, the clerk will destroy them.

With this act, the formateur indicated that his task is finished. The thanks everyone who has helped in this process.
