Telecommunication company UTS signs agreement with MCB Bank

Paul-de-Geus-UTS-MCB-Chicu-CurielWILLEMSTAD - The ailing telecommunication company UTS has signed an agreement with the largest bank of the island, the Maduro & Curiel’s Bank (MCB). This agreement comes as a ray of sunlight in these dark days of the public company.

UTS is now the main provider of services for all 61 Bankomatiko ATMs in Curaçao and also all eleven branches on the island.

Affordable telecommunications, state-of-the-art quality and 100 percent reliability are essential and indispensable for a bank today. For these reasons, MCB opted for the services provided by UTS, according to a press release released yesterday by the telecom company.

For the Maduro & Curiel's Bank (MCB) it is of the utmost importance that customers can make optimum use of the ATM machines 24/7 and throughout the year and can always go to the bank branches.

It is also important for UTS that, in the context of the progress of the company, there is 24/7 access to the best telecommunications networks. UTS is therefore pleased with this 'investment from MCB', namely the choice of the local company United Telecommunication Services (UTS).

"This means that the money stays in Curaçao and thereby contributes to the stimulation of the economy, which gives a positive push to the development of Curaçao," UTS says.
