The Kingdom has attention for human trafficking
WILLEMSTAD – One of the important topics discussed recently in the Conference of the Ministers of Justice of the Dutch Kingdom was the human trafficking. According to the Minister of Justice, Nelson Navarro during the weekly press conference of the Council of Ministers, it is known that this topic has worldwide attention and in the Kingdom it is one of the focus points of the governments.
According to Navarro in a State government by law, the government has to stand strong against the exploitation and do everything in its power to prevent human trafficking.
“We as Ministers of Justice in the Kingdom have agreed that we will work harder to fight this crime. We will work together to put a stop to this type of abuse,” said Navarro.
The Minister gave various examples of human trafficking and exploitation of people. One of the known cases is when people are forced to go into the world of prostitution. This is one of the most disgusting forms of exploiting people and most of the times it’s a result of human trafficking.
