Whiteman on an official visit to The Hague
THE HAGUE, WILLEMSTAD - Prime Minister Bernhard Whiteman is currently on a working visit to the Netherlands. His visit began on Tuesday and will continue through Saturday. Whiteman has been invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to participate in the visit of Permanent Representatives of the United Nations which is being held these days.
The purpose of this consultation is to exchange expertise in the field of peace, justice and development in order to promote security and stability in the world. Besides the peace and justice program, this time they will specifically focus on innovative and sustainable solutions for our society, according to a press release from the Ministry of General Affairs in Willemstad.
Whiteman also has several other meetings on the agenda, including one with the Minister of the Interior and Kingdom Relations, Ronald Plasterk and the Minister of Defense Hennis-Plasschaert.
