Wiels on Dutch T.V. program: “We are here to do business”
WILLEMSTAD – Pueblo Soberano (PS) leader Helmin Wiels appeared last night at the Dutch talk show Pauw & Witteman. He spoke of a positive atmosphere during the Inter-Parliamentary Kingdom Consultation.
"We are doing business here in the Netherlands, in a respectful way, and not with the policy of holding hands," said Wiels. His statement about Dutch people which should be sent back in body bags, was refuted by the PS party leader. According to Wiels, he has never spoken of body bags, but of bags, such as the bag of Zwarte Piet (black servant of Saint Nicholas) where naughty children are put.
Moreover, that judgment was a reaction to the words from the Netherlands and especially from the PVV, such as the expression that Curacao should be put on sale on the website Marketplace (marktplaats.nl). Wiels also spoke very positively about Hugo Chavez. "An icon of modern socialism on different continents," as he called the deceased president.
