Annual harvest festival in danger due to austerity measures government

SeuWILLEMSTAD - The foundation that annually organizes the harvest festival Seú holds hope for the full subsidy of 250 thousand guilders from the government. But it looks like this year they will have to do with 75 thousand less than last year because the government has to cut costs.

According to the foundation, the entire festival is at risk. Every year more than 4,000 people take part in the Seú march and even more people as spectators. This shows that it is a very important celebration of the Curaçao culture. April 2 is the big march.
