CIBC First Caribbean Walk For The Cure High Tea promises to be an unique event not to be missed
WILLEMSTAD -- CIBC FirstCaribbean Bank will organize on International Woman’s Day, March 8th a high tea as part its 2015 Walk for the Cure project.
The event promises to become an event not to be missed with the traditional high tea culinary bites and pastries, live entertainment, spring collection fashion show and various prizes.
CIBC FirstCaribbean is pleased to have the Director of Radio Direct, Mrs. Jachmin Pinedo, as the inspirational speaker at this event. All proceeds collected will go toward CIBC FirstCaribbean’s 2015 Walk for the Cure and donated to the Prinses Wilhelmina Fonds.
The high tea will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm at the Marriot Resort Curaçao. Tickets for the High Tea Fundraiser are for sale at the price of ANG. 150,- and can be purchased at CIBC FirstCaribbean Bank (telephone 433-8000) or at Mensing’s Caminada.

Besides the exquisite culinary bites and pastries provided by Marriot Resort Curaçao, one should expect a fashion show with the spring collection of Adolfo Dominguez, Blossom Plussize, De Jongh’s Sporthuis, Mango, Nice People and Rasonable & Shoe Depot with our Miss Curaçao, Laurien Angelista as one of our models,” Lysaira Ortela, Marketing Manager for CIBC FirstCaribbean in Curaçao said.
“We already noticed that the expectations are very high for the guest speaker Mrs. Jachmin Pinedo. There will be live entertainment by Jill Frans and Dibo Doran,” she said.

The event is just one of a yearlong list of activities leading up to the Walk for the Cure in October.
The CIBC FirstCaribbean Walk for the Cure is an event that raises funds for the care and support of persons fighting cancer, held all across the Caribbean in all the 17 countries where CIBC FirstCaribbean has offices. CIBC FirstCaribbean is taking part in this along with its parent company, CIBC, which is in its 19th year of supporting the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation’s Run for the Cure.
All proceeds generated through the Walk for the Cure events will be donated to Prinses Wilhelmina Fonds to support them in their fight against cancer. This is the 4th year that the Walk for the Cure will be held in the 17 territories across the Caribbean where the bank has branches and offices.
