CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank toasts its employees during Employee Appreciation Day 2018

Underscoring their commitment, dedication and teamwork

CIBC FirstCaribbean Employee Appreciation Day 2018WILLEMSTAD - CIBC FirstCaribbean International Bank recently to pamper its employees as the bank celebrated Employee Appreciation Day 2018.

Employees who excelled in their work during the past year were heralded for their commitment and dedication. The bank’s Country Manager Edward Pietersz emphasized and thanked his staff for their dedication and commitment noting that it was the key to taking the bank to the next level and giving meaning to the banks promise of providing banking that fits the lives of its clients.

For 2018 Employee Appreciation Day, the Retail Hall of the bank and the canteen was nicely decorated. The day started early with employees being treated to very tasteful and nutritious fruit smoothies and an Arepa served by the Country Management Team of the bank.

During lunch-time, the staff was treated to a healthy lunch in the canteen and later cocktails with cakes were served also by the Country Management Team. It was a day when most staff members shed their regular business attire for more casual outfits as they enjoyed the day dedicated to showering them with praise for the good work that they do.

A number of employees were singled out for recognition with several of them receiving on-the-spot awards to the applause of their colleagues. Three of them even received more than one award, namely Arelis Gressman, two awards, Nataly Gomes-dos Santos, two awards and Sharlena Sillie three awards.

Mr. Pietersz gave special thanks to all the employees for their efforts, for going the extra mile for the organization emphasizing the commitment, dedication and teamwork of the whole staff.
