Documentary about Curacao on American Film Festival
WILLEMSTAD - The documentary Velo Love can now be seen at the Garifuna Film Festival in Los Angeles. The documentary is about the contemporary Caribbean art.
Velo Love tells the story of four artists who have two things in common: their passion for art and love for Curaçao.
The documentary was made by Robert Corcini.
The work of Jose Capricorne, Nelson Carilho, Philippe Zanolino and Monique Herksen is placed in a cultural and historical context. The stories of these artists, their work and the timeless connections between arts, spirit and human endeavor is central. The festival will last just a few days.
