Finally a grand slam finale for Rojer
WILLEMSTAD - Jean-Julien Rojer has experienced a first at Wimbledon. The tennis player reached, for the first time, the final of the men's doubles at a Grand Slam tournament together with Horia Tecau by defeating the Indian Rohan Bopanna and the Romanian Florin Mergea 4-6, 6-2, 6-3, 4-6, 13-11.
The player from Curacao was at grand slam level five times before in the semi-final, but he never reached the final. Rojer won a title in the mixed doubles at Roland Garros in 2014.
