For the fifth time, Venezuelans supported Curaçao Clean Up program
WILLEMSTAD - Curacao Clean Up was held on Saturday September 24th, and as usual, a vast group of Venezuelans was there to support the initiative.
The group of Venezuelans, under the coordination of Venex Curacao and Totto Rescue Team, dedicated their effort to clean a grand area in Sint Jorisbaai. Lots of plastic bottles and other types of waste was found and picked, helping prevent pollution of walking paths and nature areas.
One of the improvements on this fifth edition of Curacao Clean Up, was the addition of a catamaran to transport the waste collected by the team. The watercraft improved efficiency of the collection/cleaning team, compared to previous years.
Sint Jorisbaai's waste collection journey was the fifth time in which Venezuelans collaborated with the program known as Curacao Clean Up. We have participated before in BokaPretu (2013), Sint Jorisbaai (2014), Klein Korsou (2015) and the latest initiative in Klein Korsou, in April 2016.
