Grand finale MCB Curaçao Masters 2014

MCBMastersWILLEMSTAD -- The organization looks back to a successful MCB Curaçao Masters 2014.

The hoped-for amount of 400 visitors achieved and both visitors as players enjoyed top golf, lots of kids activities and a very exciting play-off final with a special winner.

The German Christoph Gunther and Dutchie Ralph Miller finished equal and needed to play a play-off. Both players returned to the 18th holes to play this hole again. The battle between the two ended equal again, so they got back to the 18th. This time Miller leaded with one stroke less than Gunther and crowned himself to winner of the MCB Curaçao Masters 2014 with an end score of +2.

When the players finished the 18th green, they were interviewed by Tournament Host Gonzalo Cuales and were asked to do the ‘MCB Curacao Masters Gong Shot’. This game was an extra value for even the pro’s as spectators and promoted the viewing pleasure at he arena.

During the day, a fundraising  took place for the charity of the event, the Excel Arts Academy. Before the main day took place, fifty children from this foundation enjoyed a clinic from the 28 pro’s. Together with 100 kids from Curaçao they learned to play golf and did lots of other activities. Main Sponsor MCB and the Tournament Director Vincent Zrour were very satisfied with this Charity Kids Clinic. ‘’The happy faces of the kids gives every parent a good feeling, golfer or non golfer.’’

After the excitment final a raffle took place with lots of big prizes to win for the spectators. The golfers and players went to Blue Bay Beach to enjoy the final dinner. The organizer of the golf event had invited a special artist for the closing party for players, sponsors and residents from the golf & beach resort. None other than Tingsek had the honor to close the Caribbean golf party of the year at the Sunset Bar from Blue Bay.
