House Hunters filmed in Curaçao will feature on HGTV

HHI_2WILLEMSTAD - A few months ago, the television show House Hunters International filmed an episode here in Curaçao. The couple Urlin and Stephanie were looking for their dream house in the Caribbean and Curaçao became the perfect spot for them. This episode will be aired on October 15 on HGTV. The Curaçao Tourism Board (CTB) is excited to see this accomplishment since all these productions help to market the island.

House Hunters is an American reality series that airs on HGTV, and is produced by Pie Town Production. The program follows individuals, couples, or families searching for a new home with the assistance of a realtor. Each broadcast features three properties, one of which is selected by the prospective buyer, whose offer generally is accepted by the seller. In the final moments of the show, the new owner provides a tour of the house, revealing what changes and/or improvements if any were made after moving in.

The episode in Curaçao tells of the couple Urlin and Stephanie from Jersey. After returning home from the Caribbean, Urlin was completely in love with the idea of owning a house in the Caribbean with an ocean view. Even though this investment could have financial consequences for the family, Urlin is determined to explore the various possibilities. Stephanie has decided to support her husband in the search and joined him in his quest for a beautiful home with ocean view here in Curaçao. If they can’t find what they are looking for, then Stephanie may convince Urlin to leave Curaçao without finding his dream house.

With the production of this episode in House Hunters International, Curaçao, once again, can boast another success on its curriculum. The initiative for this program came from Re/Max Bon Bini Curaçao. This episode is ready to air on October 15 at 10:30 pm on HGTV.

“We would like to invite everyone to enjoy this episode filmed on our beautiful “dushi” Curaçao.”
