Jack Hanna in Curacao

Aldrich and JackWILLEMSTAD – The famous American Zookeeper, Jack Hanna was recently in Curacao for the filming of one of his shows. The Director Emeritus of the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium also paid a visit to the Curacao zoo. Hanna even participated in a small event to raise funds for the park.

According to Hanna, he was impressed with the island. “I’m not saying this because I’m here with you, but you truly have a wonderful island. I’ve traveled to many countries and Curacao has impressed me. You keep your place clean and I must say that I’ve never seen an ocean so blue before in my life,” Hanna said to the audience at the fundraising event.

His media appearances, particularly with David Letterman, have made him one of the most notable animal experts in the United States. Hanna, nicknamed "Jungle Jack", is known for his khaki safari outfit, deep tan, and Southern accent.
