Wander in the Gardens of Roger & Gallet

theyellowhouseWho doesn’t know the cologne Eau de Cologne Jean Marie Farina?

Jean Marie Farina launched in early 18th century.

Napoleon Bonaparte, French military and political leader in 18th century, was known to indulge in Eau de Cologne Jean Marie Farina.

Fact: As a token of love, Napoleon's beloved wife Empress Josephine asked Jean Marie Farina to invent a bottle that her husband could take with him everywhere by slipping it in his boot. Napoleon Bonaparte used up to 60 flasks of Eau de Cologne Jean Marie Farina per month!

Inspired by the original Eau de Cologne Jean Marie Farina, the perfumer and apothecary Armand Roger & Charles Gallet created the House of Roger & Gallet, on 10 April 1862, which thereafter became a hallmark of invention, authenticity and quality.

Roger & Gallet is a line of distilled natural ingredients, inviting you on a perfumer’s journey to the most beautiful gardens in the world; offering luxury daily beauty products with an emotion. Perfumes composed with natural essential oils, soaps perfumed to their 'heart' and body care with exceptional textures.

Scents collected from the most beautiful private gardens of the world, such as Andalusia, Calabria, India and Japan. Roger & Gallet’s fragrant waters and bodycare products, bring together a touch of private luxury; sending you to a trip to a private garden.

Its newest edition to the line is Gingembre Rouge:  ‘A fruity floral ginger with a hint of gourmand. An energizing fragrance to discover the beautiful and luscious Zanzibar island…’

Three different facets of ginger, all in its states, are composed in this fragrant water.

The top note is built on a vibrant note of ginger for the freshness and the juicy sensation of pomegranate pulp. The heart note explores the exotic scent of the ginger flower combined with orange blossom and the blooming lychee flower to add a delicate and fruity touch. In the dry down, the warm and addictive tonalities of candied ginger mingle with the magnetic tones of cedarwood and musk finally envelops the composition with their irresistible and rich tonalities.
