11,500 tourists on the island

WILLEMSTAD – The well known photographer Bea Moedt has captured a unique momentum today when five cruise ships (four in the picture), bringing 11,500 visitors, were docked at the Curacao harbor. It was a great day for Curacao considering that this time of year is actually the low season.

Curacao Tourism Board (CTB) has prepared a special program to guarantee that everything will go smoothly for our visitors and to offer them a memorable day on Curacao.

The cruise ships were Aidaluna with 2040 passengers, Horizon with 1752, Rotterdam (Holland America Line) with 1316, Grand Princess with 2600 passengers and the biggest one Carnival Freedom with 3783. There were different activities for the visitors in downtown.
