CHATA data: Available Rooms Nights

hotel roomWILLEMSTAD - The Available Rooms Nights (ARN) decreased compared to last year, this most likely due to a change in local properties. In June, the Occupied Room Nights (ORN) also decreased. This is due to one hotel (126 rooms) not reporting data for the month of June.

The Hotel Occupancy in June 2016 was 51.6% compared to 61.6% in June 2015. Average Daily Rates rose from $128.38 in 2015 to $130.57 in 2016. At $67.36 in 2016, the Revenue Per Available Room has decreased with $11.77 compared to 2015.

Meanwhile in other Caribbean islands occupancy has gone down for all islands except for Aruba, Barbados and the Dominican Republic who saw an increase compared to June 2015. As for ADR, Barbados and the Dominican Republic saw an increase compared to June 2015.
