CTB returns to California for various seminars

CTB_CaliforniaCALIFORNIA, WILLEMSTAD – During four days, the Curacao Tourism Bureau (CTB) held various educational seminars for the San Francisco and Los Angeles, California market focusing on Curacao as a tourism destination.

The reason why CTB chose California is based on the flow of tourism that the island is receiving from this area. There is an increase in the last period.

The visit to California consisted of seminars for the travel agencies in San Francisco and Los Angeles, but also seminars for the media in those two cities. The CTB has also organized a road show for the west coast. Mrs. Natasha Chatlein, Consul General for the Dutch Kingdom in San Francisco was also present during the seminars held in that city.

Next to the seminars, CTB has also organized three events for the media in California. The first one was held in San Francisco, where the San Francisco Chronicle, AFAR Magazine, Fodors, Huffington Pose, Forbes and Urban Daddy participated. The second and third events were held in Los Angeles, where Smarter Travel, MTV Travel, Caribbean Travel, About.com, Expedia View Finder, Matador TV, Washington Times and LA Times participated.
