CTB’s special recognition for the Jeurgens family
WILLEMSTAD – The Jeurgens family has visited Curaçao every year since 1995 and in certain cases even more than once per year. It can be certainly concluded that this family consisting of a mother, a father and two children of 10 and 11 has been coming to Curaçao for 20 years now. This is a reason for the Curaçao Tourism Board (CTB) to give a special recognition for this family. For this occasion the Minister of Economic Development, Stanley Palm visited this family and had a nice conversation with them.
During their many stays here on the island, the family has seen how Curaçao has been developing compared to 20 years ago. They mentioned the variety of hotels and the infrastructure of the island. During these 20 years they have stayed at different hotels. They have always rented a car to explore. For them, Curaçao is their second home.
The Jeurgens family really loves West Point for its tranquility. What they like the most is snorkeling and swimming at Janthiel and Daaibooi.
Minister Palm spoke about the positive developments in tourism and what Curaçao is experiencing in this sector.
After the meeting, Mr. Palm offered the family a special plaque and a gift and invited the family to go and enjoy the island.
